If you’re not using Windows 7 an issue some users experience is updating their computer to Microsoft’s .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1.
 
eNoteFile runs on the new super-fast and feature-rich Windows Presentation Foundation platform. This is standard on Windows 7 but needs to be installed on XP and Vista. This platform allows the rich features of eNoteFile such as fast filing and single-click synchronisation.
 
Please note, this is a large Microsoft Windows update and can take some time depending on your computer and internet speed (up to 15-20 minutes or more, sometimes including a restart). It might even look like the download and install progress bar is not moving.
 
Once this is done however, eNoteFile updates and other new applications using Windows Presentation Foundation will install seamlessly.
 
You must be online the first time you launch eNoteFile and after any update. This includes establishing communication with our eNoteFile server over a 'new' secure HTTPS connection - please check your firewall settings.
 
Please also ensure your computer is set to the correct date, time and time zone for your location.
 
Your user name must be a unique email address – the same email address cannot be used to register again.
 
Try downloading and reinstalling eNoteFile again or one the other fixes if needed.
